The Michigan Retailers Association maintains that in order to give everyone the same chance for success, the government must be fair and set the same standards for businesses. We received a report from a member firm that OSHA has assessed fines to a Green Industry firm for not having Forklift Certification in place for all of their employees. In looking into this we’ve found that there is a Federal regulation in place that requires this training and certification. This regulation has been on the books for years, but it appears that it is now being enforced.
