Michigan's Green Industry Voice in Lansing

MNLA's Green Industry Legislative Action Center is intensively involved in lobbying on behalf of Michigan's Green Industry. The Board of Directors establishes policy, and the Executive Committee serves as the Association's Legislative Committee, with oversight over the positions MNLA takes. MNLA's Executive Director oversees the Association's lobbying strategy and activities, and activates its grassroots support system.

A retained multi-client lobbyist, Governmental Consulting Services, Inc. (GCSI), keeps a daily watch on bills and regulations that could affect the Green Industry, advising MNLA on when and how to intervene. Through GCSI, MNLA maintains a daily presence at the Capitol, supporting its annual Legislative Day and ongoing communication with the Legislature. GCSI also provides a Weekly Legislative Update on all legislative and regulatory activity, keeping MNLA's Executive Director and Board of Directors informed on everything shaping the industry.
