*Together, all segments of the Green Industry account for a total of 36,162 individuals employed (Knudson & Peterson, 2012). According to US Census Data, this equates to 1 out of every 170 Michigan citizens between the ages of 18-65.

About Us

Researchers at Cornell Cooperative Extension, Cornell University and Michigan State University are conducting a survey that seeks to determine the impacts of impatiens downy mildew on the greenhouse industry. The researchers are looking to gather information on the impact of the disease, grower and retailer responses to the issue, as well as information on trends in consumer purchasing. The results will be summarized and shared with the industry. The more responses received, the more useful the information gathered.
