One of the goals from the 2019 MNLA Strategic Plan is to “develop an all-encompassing Recruitment Plan to attract more entry-level employees by promoting the Green Industry as a viable career path to the next generation.” One of the strategies adopted to achieve this is to develop an Apprenticeship Program for Michigan’s Green Industry.
This program will be a statewide Michigan program similar to the national program offered by the National Association of Landscape Professionals. We’ve contracted with Dr. Robert Schutzki, our Project Specialist, to build this Apprenticeship Program.
