Boxtree Moth

A new and devastating pest has been found in North America, Cydalima perspectalis (Walker) – Boxtree Moth. It was detected in Toronto in August 2018 in an urban neighborhood. We are very concerned about this pest and are working with the MI Department of Agriculture and Rural Development on the best strategy to protect Michigan’s industry and environment. Here are details on the pest from the Canadian Government.
