The Director of Operations is responsible for managing both the day-to-day and strategic operations of the company. She/He will ensure that the people, systems, operational policies and controls are in place to effectively support the organization. The Director of Operations will be tasked with safeguarding the financial strength and operating efficiency of the Company, as well as ensuring that proper measures exist and high quality results are continuously delivered. She/He will clearly communicate and articulate the vision and mission to all levels of the Company, while helping to shape and guide the future growth and development of the organization.

The Director of Operations should have 5+ years of experience in a comparable level management role, in a collaborative and dynamic environment, with proven success as a leader in growing a business.  Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in business/accounting/finance or related area or equivalent experience and be highly proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with QuickBooks.  Relevant industry experience would be a plus.
The Director of Operations must have proven financial management, strategic planning and process improvement skills as well as demonstrated experience developing and analyzing metrics.  She/He must have proven success in making key decisions for the business through critical problem-solving skills and the demonstrated ability to make sound judgment calls, successfully communicating those decisions when necessary, both in and outside the organization.   Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven ability to build strong relationships and generate respect with senior management, internal staff and in the external community in which the company does business are critical, as is the demonstrated ability to hire, coach, appraise, reward and retain a highly qualified staff and motivate, mentor and develop a collaborative and high-performing team.
