Unemployment Insurance Agency Agreement

This agreement comes after MFB staff received numerous phone calls in late 2012 regarding the UIA requiring social security numbers of employees and threatening penalties. After numerous phone calls, emails and meetings, MFB staff was able to explain the intricacies of using migrant labor and the concerns about lawsuits from legal services and penalties regarding discriminatory actions related to document requests. In the end, MFB appreciates the willingness of the UIA staff and director to work on a common sense solution.
