Property Cap
HB 4753, introduced by Rep. Peter Pettalia (R-Presque Isle), would amend the General Property Tax Act to allow for transfers of property to immediate family without triggering the "popup" imposed by Proposal A, when the taxable value pops up to the assessed value.
This bill passed the Senate Finance Committee and awaits consideration on the Senate floor.
Farm Bureau is neutral on HB 4753.
