11th Annual Landscape Design (and Wine) Tour in Northern Michigan

Leading landscape designers will walk you through award winning landscapes and share their philosophies on design. This event will highlight landscape creativity, craftsmanship and the diversity of ideas and materials used in the landscape. Dinner on the 9th and a wine tasting event are included in this great deal! A special night landscape lighting tour stop will follow the social event.

Tentative Schedule:
August 9, 2012
12pm - Meet Tour Bus at Shanty Creek in Bellaire, MI
Tour outstanding landscapes in the Traverse City area. Enjoy dinner and wine while networking with other designer colleagues on the tour. Visit a landscape lighting project at dusk.
Around 9pm - Return to Shanty Creek for the night.

August 10, 2012
Around 7:30am - Meet Tour Bus at Shanty Creek
Tour outstanding landscapes in the Petoskey area. Enjoy a delicious lunch and world class cookies!
Around 3pm - Return to Shanty Creek at the end of the tour.

Participants are responsible for their own lodging at this event. A discounted group rate has been negotiated with Shanty Creek for Design Tour attendees. Please book your room directly with the hotel.

Host Hotel: Shanty Creek Resorts has been selected as our host hotel for overnight accommodations during the 11th Annual Landscape Design Tour. The reduced overnight rate of $117 for single or double occupancy has been negotiated for this event. To make reservations, please download the Accomodation Form and fax or mail it directly to Shanty Creek Resorts (contact info on form). To guarantee the special rate, reservations must be received by Friday, July 20th. Reservation requests received after this date will still be accepted provided that rooms are available.
