Michigan's Nursery and Landscape Industry's Standard of Excellence
The Certified Green Industry Professional (CGIP) is the recognized Certification Program for the Nursery and Landscape Industry in the State of Michigan. Industry leaders originally established the Program in 1980 as Michigan Certified Nurseryman (MCN). The program was revised and renamed in 2010 in order to more effectively represent all aspects of the Green Industry and to remain relevant to consumers. Though the name has changed, the standard of excellence remains the same. The Certified Green Industry Professional (CGIP) designation indicates experience, knowledge, and dedication on the part of the individual. Set yourself and your company apart by investing in certification for yourself and your employees.
In today's market, certification gives you and your company a competitive edge. The Certified Green Industry Professional (CGIP) Program allows you to specialize in one or more of the following areas:
• Michigan Certified Nurseryman
• Michigan Certified Landscape Contractor
• Michigan Certified Landscape Manager
• Michigan Certified Landscape Designer
• Michigan Certified Garden Retailer
